Areas Covered

Our service is aligned with the area that is covered by West Oxfordshire District Council’s Bins and Recycling team. Initially we will be restricted to cover Witney and Carterton and surrounding villages.  We are not covering Chipping Norton and the north of the District Council area at the moment – but we hope to expand into this area soon.

Cleaning Process

Our aim is to leave you with a Clean, Fresh and Disinfected bin. Not only clean on the inside, but clean on the outside too.  To do this we use the latest bin cleaning equipment which allows us to use the least amount of water and chemicals so that we not only leave your bin clean, but your environment undamaged too.

  • We use the latest bin cleaning equipment to ensure that not only do your bins get thoroughly and properly cleaned, but that we do not mess up your local environment or damage the wider environment.
  • We recycle the washing water, collect the solid waste and use degradable detergents to comply with all the latest legislation.
  • Whilst our process is not silent – we try to visit at more social hours than the bin emptying service and make a lot less noise than them!
To ensure that yours is a “Beaming Bin” we carry out the following procedure (this is for the grey general waste bins – other bins follow a similar procedure).

  • Loosen any solid waste that is sticking to the inside base and sides of the bin. This we collect and bag up. If there is a lot of solid waste we may deposit the bagged waste back in your bin after we have cleaned it.
  • Using our cleaning equipment raise the bin up and thoroughly wash the inside with pressurised water. All water and dirt coming out of the bin is caught in our equipment.
  • Pressure wash the outside of the bin and the bin lid. This water may fall to the ground or be collected.
  • Dry the inside and outside of the bin
  • Spray the inside of the bin with a deodorising disinfectant.
  • Polish the bin lid and sides
  • Return the bin to the curb-side ready for you to collect when you return from work!
  • We want you to know that your bin has been cleaned and is ready for returning to it’s normal place
  • We are working on systems that will allow us to email or text you in real-time when your bin has been cleaned
  • We will email or text you to let you know when you need to reorder our service
  • We will email or text you if for any reason we are not able to clean your bin as expected (for instance if you did not put it out)
  • We will email or text you if we were unable to clean your bin because it had not been emptied – we will also place a sticker on the bin
  • We will give you the option to determine how and for what reasons we contact you

Products Cleaned

The Grey General Waste Bins are emptied on a 2 week schedule – we can clean them every time they are emptied but we recommend you have them cleaned every 4 weeks.
The Green Waste Bins are emptied every 2 weeks – every other week to the Grey General Waste Bins. We can clean them every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks depending on your preference. Remember that in winter they are often not used as much so will probably not need cleaning as often.
The Food Waste Caddy is emptied every week. We are unable to clean them economically – so cannot charge any less than the large wheeled bins (at the moment). We recommend that you have them cleaned 4 weekly.
Sorry – we cannot clean these at the moment. We are looking for a way to clean these economically and will make an announcement as soon as we can offer this service.

Frequency of Service

We recognise that having your bins cleaned is a discretionary service and we want to offer a service that delights you and enhances your environment.

Most bins do not need cleaning every time they are emptied and we recommend that they are cleaned once every 4 weeks. This means your bin never gets too messy or smelly – and does not cost you too much to keep it clean.

We can only clean your bins on the day they are emptied – so we can never clean them more frequently.

Through our online ordering system you can change the frequency that we clean your bin at different times of the year when you place your order. This means you can increase the frequency of green waste bin cleaning during summer and reduce or stop the service over the winter – we want you to be delighted with our service.

We also offer a one-off clean for your bins so that you have total flexibility of what is cleaned and when.

Of course the customer is the king – so you decide how often your bins get cleaned!

We want to provide an excellent service that is good value for money, but we don’t want to bamboozle you with lots of different pricing. So our aim is to keep our pricing clear, simple and affordable.

  • For a one-off clean of any 1 bin – we charge a total of £10 (1 clean)

Frequently Asked Questions

Or more truthfully – Questions we think you might want the answer to!
That is for you to decide! But we would point out that bins are dirty, smelly and unhygienic things that can attract flies – so having your  bin cleaned not only makes it look slightly less unsightly – but also stops it being so smelly and unhygienic.
You can – but unless you have the correct equipment you are likely to get covered in dirty water and have trouble disposing of the mess that comes from the bin. Why not let us take the hassle?
Normally once every 4 weeks – unless you want it cleaned more often. As we can only clean it when it has been emptied we can arrange to clean it every time it is emptied if you wish.
The same day that is emptied – after it has been emptied of course! We cannot guarantee the time – only the day.
We hope you will notice! But we will also let you know by email that it has been cleaned and let you know how many bin cleans you have remaining.
We will track the changes to your bin-emptying day and adjust our schedule to suit. If for some reason your bin is not emptied on the day of the published schedule, we will not be able to clean it – we will tell you by email and put a sticker on the bin.
Yes – but for the moment we cannot do it any cheaper than your other bins. We are looking to invest in equipment that will allow us to do it more economically in the future. Please look out for more information on this later in the year.
Yes – please select the correct service and regularity on our website

Sorry – We cannot clean them at the moment. We are looking to invest in equipment that will allow us to clean them economically in the future so please keep watching!

Unfortunately not – our pricing is on a per bin basis – if you have 2 bins and want them both cleaned, select a quantity of 2 in the shop. We understand that this is a bit more expensive, but it means we can offer the best value for money to all of our customers.
On the same day. We cannot guarantee the time. Normally we will clean it at around the same time each clean. We are working on equipment to allow us to email you as soon as we have cleaned it.
We price our one-off clean to represent all the work of cleaning a dirty bin. When we clean bins on a regular basis they stay clean and take much less cleaning.
We will email you every time we clean your bin so you know how many bin cleans you have remaining. We will email you and let you know when we have cleaned your bin for the last time – and put a sticker on your bin reminding you too!
No – you can only do that for the Grey General Waste bins anyway – we also clean Green Waste and Food Waste bins. We will properly clean your bin each time we come and if it is cleaned every month it will not get too dirty or smelly.
All the water used to clean the inside of the bin is collected, filtered and recycled by our equipment. The small amount of water from cleaning the outside falls to the road. We dispose of all dirty water in an approved manner.
If there is a lot of solid waste, and particularly when we clean the bin for the first time, we will bag up the waste and place it in your bin when we have cleaned it. Normally, the small amount of solid waste will be collected in our cleaning equipment and removed.
We have invested in the best quality equipment so that we can make your Bin Beam! We expect to get your bin clean on the first cleaning cycle and if it is cleaned monthly we know it will be kept really clean.
Yes – we have invested in the best quality equipment so that we can collect the waste and recycle the water used to clean your bin. We conform to local authority and national standards with respect to products used and disposal of waste.
We try very hard not to do cash collections. Please pay by one of our electronic means or send us a cheque if you still use them.
Pay be debit or credit card on our website or transfer the payment directly to our bank account. If you still use cheques we can accept a cheque posted to our office.
We want to offer you a cost effective service. To do this we need to avoid collecting money door-to-door. Because we are happy to take card payments on our website, we need to make the payment amount reasonable to process. We  recognise you are trusting us to deliver – so we will ensure we keep you updated by email at all times.
No problem – we will email you to tell you and roll your credit on to the next cycle. If you can email us to let us know, it may avoid us making a wasted journey.
You will not be charged if your bin does not get cleaned.  After 1 year we will cancel any unused credits.
Show them the website, tell them about us and if they don’t have the Internet – give them our sales line number – 01865 600810
We will put a discrete Beaming Bins sticker with a Bin Identification Number (BIN) on your bin. Before we clean it for the first time we will ask you to help us identify the bin by telling us how it is marked – or marking it for us.
Beaming Bins Limited is a local (West Oxfordshire) company who want to bring a new standard of bin cleaning to the area. We are family run and passionate about customer service.
